Top badass moment? Being reminded that (a long time ago) I was engaged to a young woman who looked really like Koo Stark. She dumped me in the end, but it really did happen, honestly. :-( It’s all been downhill since then, which is not unlike Justin’s life in this movie. Shit happens and then you die, although I personally haven’t got to that last part yet. I bet that pond she was thrown in was bloody cold; it looks like it was filmed in December. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

Painful. This flick is based on some legendary smut penned by the Marquis De Sade, but if this was released today it would probably be rated PG. It's a few boobs, a couple of attempted rapes, one of the tamest S & M scenes you're ever likely to see, and nearly two hours of crappy drama. Klaus Kinski is totally wasted by having him appear (without any dialog, just a lame voice-over) as the Marquis himself in a pointless framing device of him writing the novel in prison. Waste of time.

Biography of two sisters, one turned to crime, the other tried to stay virtuous. Disappointing overall.

Em honra de Maria Rohm (1945 - 2018), nossa Juliette sadeana favorita. Bem light para ser baseado em Sade, mas de forma geral o filme mantêm o sentido imaginado pelo autor. DVD Obras-primas do cinema Cinema trash: Jess Franco.
