First half-hour has no plot whatsoever, the next is Jet Li in drag pretending to shepherd sheep who are actually other Shaolin monks, and the last is a 30 V 30 death-match in the middle of a river. The action is fast, near-constant, and all set in front of absolutely stunning scenery. They literally fight on the Great Wall! Interesting as a time capsule since it almost perfectly bridges the gap between traditional Shaw Brothers flicks and the next wave ushered in by Jackie Chan and co.

Martial Arts of Shaolin is a fun Hong Kong kung fu action flick. Jet Li plays a young monk who's parents were killed by the local despot. He runs away from his temple to assassinate the ruler and runs into some other people who feel the same way. They join up and make every attempt to kill the ruler. There are a lot of great kung fu action scenes in this movie. The story is pretty light but it also doesn't ruin the movie that the story is fluff. I liked the teacher. He was good in the end.

The third film in Jet Li's Shaolin Temple trilogy. Superb martial arts.

The acting and story aren't that good and the plot is average and generic and as needless comedic scenes. The Martial Arts on display however are top notch and a must see for the beauty, fluidity and power shown. Also it fun to watch a seriously fast and talented young Jet Li.

The most serious of the Shaolin Kids trilogy. Some incredible kung fu on display here!

Action-packed, and still set in the gorgeous Li river area, but the plot is less coherent and lacks the charm of the first two films of the Jet Li Shaolin trilogy.
