This humongous turd has it all: dreary weather, small village, a family reunion with obligatory weird characters, and young, middle-aged and old women retreating to bathrooms to have a deep, meaningful cry. Enjoy.

One of those "family comes together and everything goes to pieces" stories with the expected balance of comedy and drama. I really like the performances and the writing, so even if the it's not the most original it works very well.

OK Swedish drama which should please everyone who's from a small town as it does capture something universal about the subject. It's biggest problem is that it doesn't seem to find the right tone between drama and comedy; maybe that's because there are too many characters involved. Also worth noting is that the lead actress is played by Sofia Helin who later went on to star in popular Swedish/Danish co-op TV series "Bron".
