Me Without You

Everything that you think will happen does. It's one of those movies that was probably a really "personal" project for the writer or director or whatever. But I don't need to see this. I don't like these characters...I don't relate to them...I'm not learning anything...I'm not laughing. So why am I watching?

I saw this movie in the theater and loved it. Then I bought the DVD and watched it again and thought it was really boring. So...I don't know. I guess it was okay.

Some good moments, and MacLachlan plays a good creep, and an outstanding performance from a young Michelle Williams but overall the movie sort of jumps about without much purpose until the ending - which creates a much more interesting scenario for a film and this feels like the background you don't really want to see.

I liked this film as it did well in portraying a friendship through the decades - the highs and the lows. It seemed pretty realistic and it features good performances from the two main cast members - Anna Friel and Michelle Williams. It features a good soundtrack and is worth a watch.
