I like that I live in a world where I get to say out of all the puppet sex comedies this is the best one.

This is a foul, amoral send up of the Muppets. The fact that it exists is reason enough to see it.

Sex, drugs and violence version of the Muppets. You know you're in for something different when you see a walrus banging a Siamese cat in the first 5 minutes.

Unabashed in its festive spirit and high fucking temperature. There's some bizarre pathos and hysterical, obvious satire here... Jackson must've had a hell of a good time making this, but it seems to be intellect and sobriety behind the chaos.

Some of the puppets looked cool, I guess. Seemed like it was the brainchild of a kid that was into the muppets just a little later than he should have been, got turned down for a date because of that, realized that was the reason, got embarrassed and overcompensated by making this shit.

The most degenerate, grotesque and just flat out offensive puppet act ever to be put on film. In the best way possible. Congratulations Peter Jackson, no one will ever come close to this R rated puppetry.

If you enjoyed Bad Taste, if you found Dead Alive hilarious, I don't see why you wouldn't want to give this one a try. Yes, it's a lesser work compared to those two, but all three together are about all Peter Jackson made using his talent, everything else he made, I have no idea what happened to him.

Despite how sickly and vulgar looking this movie is, it's constantly on the move, the camera is zooming in and out of closed quarters, the framing is terrific, and there's so much going on it's almost a bit overwhelming. Oh yeah, it's also fucking hilarious, and I watched this SOBER, so screw you, haters. It's a great spoof on The Muppets, and a great movie in its own right. Lmao @ the Vietnam sequence. Clearly I need to see more of Peter Jackson's earlier films.

How is it that, Peter Jackson's "Meet the Feebles" still hasn't been released on DVD and Blu-Ray in the US? I have a feeling it's because they'd sell it as "From the director of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy," and have the film's felt stars on the cover, and people might be tempted to buy it for their children. Trust me, ladies and gentlemen, this is NOT for kids. Hell, I'm not even sure that I'm old enough to see it, and I've seen it before.

Maybe in this day after Avenue Q, Team America, and Adult Swim (all of which owe a due to this film I suppose) the premise of a traditionally children's genre with shocking content isn't enough to stand alone. Not without... you know, comedy to back it up.

its funny to see a bunch of puppets put into different obscene situations like interspecies sex, drug use and trafficing, bloody murder, eat fecies, catch stds, and get butt necked. Also...giving animals human bodies is a good excuse to whip out some big ol hippopatmus tittays

during the scene thats showing a fly eat shit out of a toilet, a totally stoned friend of mine had to puke. these things kinda stay with you, as does seeing a fat walrus boss boink his skinny cat secretary, a frog going cold turkey, a bunny with AIDS etc. etc. long story short: it is as fucked up as i always wanted the muppets to be.

This is deliberately crude and offensive satire mocking show business, Hollywood, and broadway. It's not exactly intelligent but it is hilarious at times.. especially the promiscuous Rabbit. If you don't laugh at least once during this film then you truly have no soul.

The muppets meet the bad taste. Maybe this flick was cool in 1989, but it's aged a lot since. Characters are okay, but the dirtyness is pretty lame. The cheesy music in Bad Taste was hilarious, but here it's annoying. I did not see this film in time; now I'm too late with it. Mocking on the muppets is out of season I'm afraid. All points for "kill them all" ending.

Offensive for the sake of being offensive, which is generally the sign of lazy and unintelligent humor. In particular, the AIDS and shit jokes are tasteless and unfunny. There are a few genuinely funny dark comic moments, though, and if you like early Peter Jackson you'll know what you're in for.
