lol dis movie is funy. like wen evar dey made refrence 2 american idle or sumthing liek dat it made me laugh stuff and lol. i rly liked all the stuf wit carmen electra. she hawt! But 4 realz, I actually tried to watch this and couldn't even get past the first five minutes. It is painful. PAINFUL!

This is, hands down, the worst movie I have ever seen in my life. I'm actually planning to go back and raise all of my other "0" ratings so that Meet the Spartans is alone at the bottom, where it belongs.

Sweet mother of mercy there is no way this can be conceived as good. I really want to know who the target audience because I swear you need to have supremely low intelligence to find this movie humorous. I didn't laugh once. I smirked one time in 60 minutes. Oh yes, the movie is about 60 minutes long and it feels like a life time. I can't believe that a 300 parody was so bad because 300, despite being awesome, is so ripe to be made fun of.

I can't believe I watched the whole thing, all in hope that maybe, just maybe, one of the jokes would be good. The biggest shame about this movie is that it's so unfathomably bad, that younger generations will never believe us when we tell them how bad it is. On top of that, all the humor is so rooted in current events that all of the unfunny jokes in this movie will be completely lost on anybody too young to remember the 2000's.

Very unfuny. While it's prequel "Epic Movie" was very very dumb, this was just like a water hose of stupid just hosing you down with unfunny pop culture rferences in all the wrong places. Ugh. Don't watch this. Even if you think, "Oh I just need to see how bad it is." Not this time, I'm warning you. Though there are some funny parts AFTER the movie.

I was hesitant to put up this rating since I watched the thing on an airplane and switched it off after 30 mins. Just in case anyone is wondering though, the thing is not preferable to experiencing a hysterical child scream and vomit next to you for 6 hours.

As of my writing this, it's been nearly 6 months since we were last subjected to the unimiginative drivel of Friedberg and Seltzer. Could it be?!? Are we finally free of their wicked clutches?!? Perhaps there is a god after all... I know no one has a gun to my head forcing me to watch this crap, but their suicide-enducing ad campaigns are inescapable. Honestly I haven't even seen this film, just a YouTube "highlight" video. If those are your highlights, you're fucked.

Disclaimer - I thought this was the movie with Crispin Glover as Willy Wonka, so I eagerly awaited at least one inspired scene in the morass, alas... Tired and repetitive spoof film hammers home an alarmingly limited number of gags (the infinite pit and "You Got Served" drag on for what seems like forever). A tough one to score - its not abrasively unlikable and functions as a background drone, but it is shoddily made and borders on incompetent film-making at times. Make of that what you will.

Made me laugh 3 or 4 times. And Carmen Electra is hot. So far the positive things about this movie. There are a lot of things which annoyed me in this movie but if I have to name one: all those references to commercials. I really hated this.

Maybe it's just the onset of mental retardation, but I actually thought it was momentarily funny in parts and definitely not as bad as the disastrous Epic Movie. It's stupid, childish, terribly acted and totally idiotic, but somehow this time around the setting of the Sparta portrayed in 300 sets the perfect setting for such a crappy spoof. About a quarter of the jokes work to an extent, but the rest are truly terrible totally negating any of the better ones. Terrible, but not utterly crap.

Just one more point above the original one, there are movies which don't need parodies, especially not tasteless grotesques like this one. it had some highlights, but the overall was like feeling I wasted my time twice: first for 300, then for this. Diedrich Bader is awesome is the silver lining.

I gave this movie one point for every time I laughed-keep in mind it ha a 65 minute run time, so you do the math. Strangely, the outtakes/gag reel on the DVD was chock full of funny jokes that had wit and charm. Why not just put those in the movvie?

Damn, I'm just amazed that these movies are still being made. I feel that the only budget they're getting is from the many product placements in the movie. It was seriously like watching a long commercial. Xerxes was chewing some dentyne ice and freezing the screen with his breath, not very subtle. Then there are the typical celebrity appearances that have been used in every other bad parody movie. Some of the bad jokes lasted way too long, like the dance off. Electra was hot, and thats all. A reference to something in popular culture is not a parody. A parody makes a satire of social mores, all the Friedberg/Seltzer films do is say "There is a thing called YouTube. There is a thing called American Idol." (this is when they aren't filling up the necessary 90 minutes with gay jokes or bodily humor). Not funny, not at all, not one joke or gag.

Admittedly I haven't seen this movie, but knowing the turds who "wrote" and "directed" it (those were in quotes because there is no way a person with a working brain could ever put pen to paper and come up with this shite - nor could anyone in good conscience opt to direct and record this tripe to film) and, knowing their track record for "humor," I would rather have the homeless dude down by the highway take a diarrhea dump on my face than waste 90 more minutes of my life watching this shit.
