What a cool little movie. Definitely flavor of '33. A Busby Berkeley inspired little ice skating scene! Delightful rhythm sequences! Along with several other visual gimmicks. Mark Sandrich was really putting some effort into making this movie! Too bad not more was invested in the gag department. For such a potentially funny story the laughs was far and few between. For me it was only really Ruggles pulling his weight to make it good. Him and those scantily dressed women! Ah, the precode days!
