Melody Time

Not as strong overall as "Make Mine Music", but the "Johnny Appleseed" and "Pecos Bill" segments are lots of fun, and it's never less than watchable.

This music driven collection of Disney shorts is a Frankenstein of Disney styles, some much better than others. The more abstract sequences were definitely the stand out portions.

Yet another musical package movie, this one is highly unmemorable.

Cozy and often adorable. If you're 7 years old or younger, chances are that you'll love it (though I guess odds are against you're the one reading this).

One of the less inspired Disney films. It's basically a series of musical shorts. Some good ones, but very few find that Disney magic.

Pecos Bill is the standout segment.

A version of "Make Mine Music" with even less heart. There's very little that's memorable here, although there's not much that's actively BAD. It's certainly about as skippable as any Disney canon movie gets - watch it only if you want to brag that you've completed the set.

Another of the "package films" Disney made in the 40s, very similar to "Make Mine Music" in the sense that it's just a string of shorts set to music or monologues. And this one, just like the others, varies from segment to segment. It's all in good fun but it's hard to recommend very enthusiastically.

Hit or miss shorts but it doesn't add up to something worth watching unless you are trying to watch all the "official disney canon"

Nothing wrong with the animation, I suppose, but the songs and stories used in this compilation film were absolutely godawful. They've aged very badly, and they're a combination of nonsensical, sexist, and cheesy. "Once Upon A Wintertime" and "Bumble Boogie" were the only ones I enjoyed.

Out of all the good musical segments in this one, only three reach classic status.

Watchable but not exactly worth tracking down.
