Pretty normal but entertaining Neeson flick. While he does shoot, it focuses more on the suspense/thriller aspect, which I think makes the movie stronger. This will never be a film where I'm like "Oh, you HAVE to see this," but it's still a decent time killer.

If you choose to watch this Liam Neeson action, stick with it. It gets better by the end. A hitman is losing his memory.

For Neeson, whose recent work has trended toward the “geezer teasers” that ensnared stars like Bruce Willis and John Travolta, this all feels like an uncomfortable metaphor for a career on the wane. The days of Taken and The Grey are gone. His films now are forgotten at the same pace they unfold.

Another movie with an old action star fighting against sex traffickers. The Equalizer and Taken, which also stars Neeson, are among the best. This is not. It has quite a few problems, including terrible voice overs and caricatures instead of characters. While I did have a little fun watching some of the action, its biggest problem is how forgettable it is.

The cast does a good job here but the script is disappointing. There are to many slow spots in the script. Overall this movie is a slight miss.

Not great or well constructed but conceptualist quite interesting. It did turn quickly into a vigilante film about taking down a child trafficking ring, but it missed a lot of character moments and build up so it's not engaging. Not terrible, but forgettable.

Director Martin Campbell's “Memory” fails to develop its themes and characters, resulting in a dull and underwritten mess. The plot is complicated, and the film spends too much time with supporting characters instead of its main character. The action setpieces are bland, and the film lacks any suspense or emotional throughline to keep the audience engaged. The supporting cast is also underutilized, and the film feels too long to sustain itself.

I've scored worse movies better than this. The problem I had with this is even with the action /drama that it did have I found so unbearably dull for the most part. I tend to be a masochist and subject myself to these end of career Neeson specials, but this was the worst I've seen in awhile as far as my own attention span. Bellucci was alright in the role, Pearce seemed to be trying but the writers didn't do him any favours. Atwal's in and out Texas accent was so bad. 4.1 for me. Generous.

The plot has ok potential, but the script, acting and “action” is far below average.
