Minimally amusing, but mostly tedious stupidity. I guess at a time when other gag comedies were focused on long set ups the anarchic series of non-sequitors in Three Stooges films had something to offer, but to me they're two sides of the same awful coin.

Not among their best--it's too canned and rehearsed-looking. I can see though why it was their only short to get an O nom: for precisely the reasons I just gave (it's more "formal," if that's the word, than their usual stuff). Btw Jeanie must've been the Goldie Hawn of her generation!
