I'm not even trying to be funny, when I say that these people would probably benefit from being treated as mentally ill. I have no sympathy for their obsession and I see nothing but stupidity, in their attempts at climbing ever more dangerous walls of rock, searching for some warped sense of fulfillment.

Some fantastic shots of the mountain itself—& the feat of scaling Meru is, in a word, impressive—but the magic that was wholly present in "Free Solo" just never quite materializes here, crafting a viewing experience that feels rather... bland?

The madmen actually did it. Great visuals, great story, a solid documentary.

It's always fascinating to watch these sorts of documentaries & see people live out their biggest dreams or goals in (sort of) real time. Surreal, even, to an extent. I'd be lying if I said it had a profound impact on me, and I'm not likely going to watch it again, but it was worth seeing once. The struggles that these three went through & the fact they still came out on the other side is definitely a testament to what humans are capable of doing & overcoming, even in the toughest times.

The visuals in this documentary are astonishing and that only is worth the watch, also you can have a glimpse on how the some people live and die for their obsessions which is also an unusual sight

Interesting for one watch. Falls a bit flat at the end.

An eye-popping doc. Not just because of its cast of climbing world A-listers, or their lengthy list of death-defying experiences, but also thanks to the fantastic cinematography, filmed in large part by the 3 guys themselves as they strove for one of the most extreme peaks of the world. These guys love their DSLRs and GoPros even more than they love snow, which is why even the footage at home is crisp, bright, and full of creativity. A must-see for outdoor fans, even if the format is TV-ish.

A mountain documentary complementary to Everest (2015). I might be in the minority, but I prefer the fictional approach to reach a stronger climax, but it's impressive the hardship these pro-climbers put themselves through and the enormous risk they're in up there.

As far as I am concerned-it's an emotional experience. This is because I don't watch this as a film but as an ode to the indomitable human spirit.

If you're at all into climbing, it's a must see. Practically perfect (and won an audience choice at Sundance). I would have liked a little more footage of the final ascent.

Doesn't contain the same excitement of some other climbing documentaries, but the passion for the sport displayed here makes this a pretty engaging watch.
