Mi querida señorita

The opening 20-25 feels like an attempt at adding drama to a failed comedy and it doesn't work very well because it neither sets up the character or the film's tone. After the character transitions it's a much more fluid and interesting film that makes both the drama and the light comedic moments work quite well. It still feels a bit too stripped down (I assume the intention was to avoid hysterics, which it does well) as key plot points pass in the blink of an eye, but it works out ok.
