Embarassingly poor film. Ephron goes way over the quota for dance numbers in a John Travolta movie -- yes, Michael just might showcase more Travolta dancing than Grease. This movie is basically two hours of Travolta running around like an idiot doing stupid stuff and shouting dumb things like "BATTLE! ... BATTLE!" The second "Travolta as Miracle Man" film of '96, this one doesn't compare favourably to Phenomenon. Hell, it doesn't compare favourably to much anything. Awful.

It's a pretty strange story, but it doesn't really flow that well. Things happen too easily and are too convenient. There are a few entertaining moments, but for the most part it's sappy schlock.
