Really not a fan of Grant in these rom-com roles he keeps doing, and this one just is smelly. Even with the likes of the addition of Caan and Tripplehorn can't bring this to any sort of enjoyment.

One of those movies from the 90s where Hugh Grant plays that same character. Here he finds himself surrounded by mob cliches. Can he blink his way out of it?

The movie is kind of okay - I've seen it long time ago - but I really did not like the style of it. Or do anybody like Hugo Grant? Well, I know somebody does, but all of his parts are alike. Most of them. Or at least movies at that époque. I learned to hate it.

I liked this. My favorite part is when Grant tries to act -- and speak -- like an American gangster. The rest of the movie is just a set-up to this.

Totally awesome and funny movie. The scenes are predictable but it doesn't ruin the movie.

Nothing particularly special and very reliant on stereotypes, but some moments in Mickey Blue Eyes were pretty funny

A rather disappointing High Grant movie. I watched this as part of a self-imposed Hugh Grant marathon consisting of About a Boy and Notting Hill, this, and 4 Weddings and a Funeral. This was by far the weakest film of the lot. And Hugh Grant plays the same character in all his movies.

Serviceable & fun. The first half moves nicely with some laughs & good silly situations. Instead of remaining madcap & clever, the picture settles into mildly amusing with movement more dull & predictable. Again, i was left wanting more & something different.

Hugh Grant is usually favorable, but the comedy here is minimal.

Who doesn't like Hugh Grant? Not his best, but good for a laugh or two. If you Hugh, check it out, otherwise, skip it.

Hugh Grant as a mobster? OK, where do I sign on as a fire-breathing 30 foot tall President of the nuclear nation of French Guyana? Cause both things are just as likely.
Shit film no laughs, no laughs shit film.

Some drawn out scenes and some absolutely hysterical scenes. Overall, I enjoyed it. Hugh Grant pretty much makes the film work.
