Midnight Intruder

This had B-movie written all over it, but it was kinda delightful anyhow! A couple of drifters take shelter at a unoccupied house, only to be surprised by arriving servants who thinks that one of them is the long lost son. Louis Hayward and his chubby old pal play along and get tangled more and more into this mess. This was all a witty and surprisingly well put together story. A bit too convenient perhaps, but Hayward showed a lot of charm in his part and it becomes a pleasing film overall.
