Mina-ye shahr-e khamoosh

A surgeon has been away from his native Iran and living in Germany for the past 30 years. After his marriage falls apart he is visibly broken and shuts down, numb to the world. A visit to Iran to deal with his inheritance of a palm grove has a powerful effect on his emotions as he visits his home town Bam, the site of a terrible earthquake which killed his parents and countless more.
