No dialogue, full length movie. I don't know that it would hold a kid's attention, but I liked it.

Arrrgh, the antmanity!!! A cute and original animation film from Europe. Tries to keep things simplistic as we are invited into this insect world. And it's adorable with it's rather anonymous lead characters nearly creating World War 3 over sugarcubes! Beautiful in it's minimalistic sense and super fun in it's crazy mode! I definitely felt it best best when being creative, but it would have been equally interesting had they continued in the pace it started. Regardless, a highly amusing acquainta

The entire family enjoyed this one. Remarkable really as there's no dialogue. There's some awesome siege warfare courtesy of some nasty red ants!

Decent and charming at times, too juvenile and just dumb at others. Doesn't really toe the line between appealing to the youngest kids and adults very well, seems to jump back and forth a bit instead. It's OK, nothing spectacular. No voice acting which I loved because that means no ridiculous dubbing.

Valley of the Lost Ants is a cute film that makes some interesting stylistic choices. 1st is the blending of anthropomorphised animated insects with live action backdrops, which looks great in long shots, but a little odd otherwise due to the cartoonish nature of the animals. 2nd is the lack of dialogue; a bold choice, since the film struggled to hold my attention at points. The music is alright, but given its the primary auditory experience, it should have made a bigger impression.
