Elendig film, dårlig dialog, grimme billeder og spild af tid..

The gangster genre given the Young Guns treatment. It's gimmicky marketing driven cinema where the poster was conceived before the film, but at least the Young Guns films were entertaining and showcased the talents of its then young cast. Mobsters is a dull and dreary half arsed throwback to 30s crime films that is stripped of the social-political context that gave them meaning. None of the performances stand out, and some of them are downright awful. e.g. Quinn and Grieco.

I love mob movies, but I almost left the theatre watching this one.

Kind of silly, but still a fun movie.

This is one of those movies that actually seems to get worse the more you think about it. We're supposed to root for the young group of ruthless killers instead of the older group, and it's so excessively violent even by gangster-movie standards that it actually makes me feel a bit ill

Horrible film, absolutely horrible. The worst gangster movie ever made, and I mean that. Who funded this piece of crap?

Kinda feels like some shitty video game you’d download on your cell phone if you were stuck in traffic school, sitting between two fat people.

Despite an abundance of style and some big names, Mobsters can't escape its empty plotting, numbing violence, and Gangster Movie 101 concepts.
