Pulsing John Carpenteresque score to children being horribly murdered while Nicolas Cage devours scenes whole. It just tapers off into nothing though but baby two outta three ain't bad.

Fun concept, which unfortunately is let down due to poor pacing, editing, and writing. Still has its moments

Taylor is not a great director but this... Mom and Dad is easily his best film. Blair manages to go back and forth between loving mom and insane with ease, and this is the most inspired I've seen Cage in a very long time. The great casting paid off because they cared. I love the premise. There's actually a little bit of heart within this (after the sledgehammer part), but mostly you're here to watch a black comedy, crazy movie about parents killing kids... and it succeeds admirably.
