Monster from a Prehistoric Planet

Japanese businessmen kidnap a baby monster, baby's parents go on a deadly rampage to find him. So it's really Taken: Kaiju Edition. Starring a Japanese kid in blackface.

"Stupid burnt lizard!"..."But even the impossible can happen!"...lol Supremely awful, with frequently ludicrous special effects and dopey dialogue (and a marvelously hokey dub job to boot). And monsters that are about as scary as a Pez dispenser. Btw not even the title makes any sense (the "prehistoric planet" is Earth, right?).

A derivative, unremarkable work. If you've seen the superior Gorgo (the British kaiju film), then the plot of this one will be familiar to you. The predictability really hurts here and makes this a dull affair, although actors in rubber suits destroying miniature buildings and vehicles will never get old.

Lacks that which makes others of it's kind so enjoyable: heart and creativity. Blah.

Very, very bad. It's pretty much just King Kong for the first 20 minutes and then Godzilla for the remaining parts of the film.

Deadly boring and deadly embarrassing. If there is a kaiju film that's worst than this I am not all interested in finding out.

You could have called this movie "Flying Monkeys in Mutant Big Bird Costumes Rescue Howard The Duck", and I wouldn't have batted an eye.
