Morro dos Prazeres

The Morro dos Prazeres, located in the Santa Teresa neighborhood in Rio, was selected to receive one of the installation of a Police Pacification Unit communities, the UPP. The expulsion of the drug trade is one of the processes performed in the new routine of local residents, who must live with the cops. Varied social and political concepts applicants society carioca XXI century are explored and followed the attempted dialogue between state and civil society.
