Nice idea, but the execution is pretty incompetent. So much ADR, so much bad music, so much corny sentimentality. Not unconventional at all.

Beautiful love story with no Hollywood's sugar and creme but whit real feeleings. Surprising good Josh Hartnett.

Just bad overall.

Offbeat bearly describes this quirky story of two seriously mentally handicapped and yet gifted people. I thoroughly enjoyed the roller coaster ride to find out how thing would turn out, twists and turns at every junction. Radha Mitchell is gorgeous as usual and her character is unexpectedly zany and Josh Hartnett is about as lovable as an autistic genious can get. I enjoyed this movie and laughed out loud several times. Well worth watching.
