Mr. Imperium

Ezio Pinza was a great opera singer in his time, but putting this nearly 60-year-old man straight in a Hollywood lead like this with superstar blond Lana Turner as his girl made this feel too much like a vanity fluff piece right off the bat. And it did turn-out to be just a curiosity piece of its time. Not just me questioning why this was ever made, for it got floored with negative reviews when it was released and ended up a massive flop at the box office too. Deservingly so.
