Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree

This has some of the charm of other Henson Christmas specials, but none of the depth. The story gets very repetitive, very quickly. I'm not sure why they hired big name actors for this, as they aren't really given anything to do (though Channing's accent is... interesting). It's not bad, just not very interesting or memorable. Recommended only for die hard Muppet fans or those who want to see Robert Downey Jr. (who must have been high out of his mind) sing about his love for Christmas trees.

The worst acting you'll ever see from singing and dancing Robert Downey, the most pointless role you'll ever see from Leslie Neilson, some Swedish lass who alternately sounds Irish... Guest starring some muppets... a Henson package that's so curious it passes off as somewhat entertaining. Bad, while still retaining a certain warmth and charm. Maybe only halfway toward being the Star Wars Holiday Special of Muppet offerings.

Cute and Muppety and one hundred percent fluff, with only wisps of actual content. The most notable thing is '95-era Robert Downey Jr. dancing around and singing about the perfect tree.
