Murder at the Baskervilles

Rivals The Triumph of Sherlock Holmes (1935) as Arthur Wontner's best Sherlock Holmes film. Him as Holmes might even be his best portrayal of the famous detective, but the story lacked a little to become exciting. Very low budget with no real flair to it. That's typical of the Wontner series. Thankfully this is the last Holmes movie he did. For a British B-movie it's alright enough even if it makes little sense that Moriarty was back in this film after Holmes killed him in the previous movie.
