Murder in Harlem

Amateurish production, but the story here is actually pretty good (if you can follow it.)

This is not very good, but there is something about the amateurish acting that makes this extremely slow-talking amusing anyway. Van Engle is the eye candy. Brooks is the handsome man. But the one that got me watching was Alec Lovejoy as the stereotypical black working man. When he had money and was out spending it, no one could match his big cocky smile! And when at the office with his white boss, he was dumb as a nut. God bless him, and Oscar Micheaux should thank him too for saving his movie.
