A hard movie to review - most of the music video bits are ridiculously joyful and positives for building awareness - but the casting choices, the cliches and some of plot logic make it just not great.

Movie is a mixed bag. I didn't like the music video parts, felt like most of them were only tangentially connected to the story. Kate Hudson and Leslie Odom Jr. did a pretty good job with their roles. Maddie Ziegler however, her physical mannerisms always felt fake to me. But it comes together in the end. There was this eureka moment where I finally understood Music's character, what she actually wanted, what she was actually doing, and it was profoundly beautiful.

Straight off the bat, I've seen way worse movies. I never got the impression Sia made it to piss everybody off. It's just a misguided first effort. The musical sequences whether you liked them or not seem to have effort put into it. Having an Autistic character is always going to rub people the wrong way. I don't think it was intended to be offensive or upsetting. There isn't a clear point of the narrative on what the movie is trying to do. It's just a bit of a bore and repetitive.

Awful representation, terrible acting and an all around bad movie. The Sia songs are bangers tho'.

Fakat düştüysek kalkmasını da biliriz mantığı çok yapmacık olmuş. Sia kendi hayatındaki zorlukları bu filmde göstermiş. Artıları olduğu kadar eksileri de çok. Fazla video klip. Filmin sonunda, güzel bitiyor. Azizim Music. Music makes me people. Come together.
