More of the same, in this sequel that feels hastily slapped together. Jerry gets a little more to do here, but is still very much on the sidelines. Some of the (mildly) racist humor rubbed me the wrong way.

The follow-up to My Friend Irma (1949), which was where Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis got their first break. And they managed to snatch them up as the side attraction here too, without there being that many laughs for a film built on stupidity. The two was easily the highlight. I like Marie Wilson as the dimwitted Irma, but I don't think she got one good line in there. Oh well, at least these films landed her a TV-series starting 1952.
