My Girlfriend's Boyfriend

The oldest cliché in the book - literally this time, in a manner of speaking. Still, it kind of reminds me of the time my girlfriend had a boyfriend. I would bring her roses and she would threaten to enforce the restraining order. I'm joking. I never brought her roses.

I don't know if I'm a sucker for Alyssa Milano or if this was a good movie. The bit with half of it being less realistic than you'd imagine was creative? I think...

It was unfairly filmed (lying to the audience) and the ending (when you found out the truth) really brought the film down.

The ending was actually pretty clever. And that's all this movie has going for it. It's boring and Milano's character is completely forgettable. I feel sorry for the poor folks that actually paid to see this thing in theaters.

You might be tempted to turn this movie off as the situation seems to get progressively dark. Alyssa Milano's charm seems to wear off by the ending. But stick it out and get to the ending, it is surprisingly worth it. Clever bit of story telling was unexpected and redeems the movie at the end. I wasn't expecting that.
