Mystery in Mexico

This film is barely longer than an hour and still manages to drag. About 85% of the film is Lundigan unsuccessfully hitting on White. Otherwise, there's about 15 minutes of plot. It's one virtue is that it was shot on location in Mexico.

As a couple's detective flick it has the charm needed to be fun, but there was something lacking to make it take-off. I guess it comes down to the writing, for the efforts from the actors seemed to be there. One for if you've already seen the hundreds of other such cute murder mysteries.

As a detective story its fast paced and fairly decent but the romantic subplot and dialogue was cringe worthy and brought the film down.
