The kids are much more tolerable in this one than the first one, and they had better kid actors, but the plot was sort of lacking a bit more

Enjoyable and children will love it. As an Adult not better then the first. I think the children's decisions were easier then the first.

I prefer the first Nanny McPhee. It's way better than this. Everything just became so silly. Maggie Smith was hilarious by the way. The resolution is so abrupt that faith is the powerful tool used by children to just magically change an adult's mind.

Mistake - When passing the lion in Trafalgar Square approx one hour in, the motorcycle sidecar swaps sides.

This snaggletoothed supernanny appears when she is most needed and least wanted. She leaves when she is most wanted and least needed. And as children mind her and learn through her paranormal authority, she becomes more and more beautiful to all who see her. (pluggedin.com)

It was a good film, and was funny in parts but not as good as the original!

Yep, bombs have countdowns and warning bells and whistles when they're about to go off, and a burp can definitely bring in the harvest. Wut...

Entertainment: 2.5/4 much less fun than the first one. Spirit: 1/3. Sustainability: 1/3 animal lovers

I really like Maggie Gyllenhaal and Emma Thompson. The first Nanny McPhee was fun and entertaining. However, this one just does not come close to measuring up to that standard. The problem with this one is the story. Also, some of the performances were campy and overacted. A kids movie, but it is so much less enjoyable than the original. Very disappointing.
