At first this felt like a bland history book portrayal of Napoleon's last days. But this silent took a unexpected turn as a personal Napoleon drama where actor Werner Krauss went through the emotional shifts in his mood, often seen thinking by himself as health got frail. This one doesn't cover the grand battles and simply focuses on the man. Not a bad approach, but it wasn't all that exciting.
