I wanted to like this. In fact watching the opening scene, I thought I was in for a very good film. However, it didn't take long to descend into the formulaic indie film. As far as I am concerned, the indie film movement is just as formulaic as its enemy. I really don't understand why all the indie's end up going down the road of self-discovery. It's been done before so many times. There were so many scenes that were reminscent of scenes I have seen a hundred times.

Its heart is in the right place, and I liked the arc of Harris' character, but this suffers from amateurish filmmaking, and some misjudged tonal shifts.
