Features scenes bathed in that green light that only existed during the low budget eighties like Mausoleum. I like the lead actress despite her joker smile and the setup for the revenge is done pretty well considering its nature but the creature design is abysmal and the film moves from stupid come-ons to stupid cut-ups.

A sleazy 80’s horror in a lot of the best ways. Great effects and music. A witch movie where the ending takes places and there’s hippy paraphernalia all over had me elevating.

This is better than it has any right to be. A vast improvement writing-wise from Naud's previous horror effort Island of Blood, it's a pure slice of 80's cheese that takes itself seriously while still having plenty of fun. The cast give solid performances, the pacing is tight, the kills are neat, the story is pretty well-done, & while I could've done without the open-ended finale it works okay. It tackles its subject matter better than most of its era & gets respect for that. Worth checking out.
