Hahaha, what the fuck? Jodie Foster channeling the spirit of Jar-Jar Binks.

This is a goofball movie. Foster and Neeson's perfomances are fine, but not only are we forced to sit through the embarassing ewok language, we get to see the mentally challenged girl nude! HAWT.

This movie is about communication. And I liked it. Good job.

One of the things that puts Truffaut's _Wild Child_ head and shoulders above the competition in this field is the filmmaker's honesty about his own position: if you had placed a tabula rasa personality in Truffaut's care, he'd have wanted to take him to a movie by Renoir, Hawks, Hitchcock. A Hollywood filmmaker will pretend to want to follow the Wild Child into the woods.

What a brilliant performance of J.Foster speaking a weird language the whole movie. Super Jodie : "Meije chickabee !! Very funny .

Seen from a 'human behavior study' point of view this is an ok film. CHICKABEEE.

This is one of the few films I have actually almost walked out of the theater whilst watching. In fact, about 1/3 of the theater did walk out. Foster's acting is not believable.

You know, for having a pretty solid cast, this damn think blew goat balls. I've ranked 612 films so far and this is easily one of the worst I've seen, and that's saying something. What the hell?

Ultimately affecting, but we've seen and seen this kind of story

Despite superb performances from Jodie Foster and Liam Neeson Nell isn't a great film. It clings too much to a generic movie formula, going almost as far as to give Nell healing abilities (as she cures a manic depressive). Even though it is a run of the mill plot the performances make it worth a watch and not a waste of time.
