Nemesis Game

Kept me on the edge of my seat and thoroughly enjoying the film until the most idiotic ending that killed it all for me. The film reaches for philosophical greatness but is nothing but the panderings of filmmakers disparate for a story.

Has the unmistakeable whiff of a 90s techno B-movie thriller about it and is pitched at the level of an average 90s TVM; might have more appeal if you are nostalgic for this sort of techno-babble laden “intellectual” thriller, but it’s fairly flat and unappealing with a cast who feel lost at sea (even the usually redoubtable McShane is rendered bland and unmemorable). Might pass muster as background noise on a slow TV night, but there’s nothing of much value here.

Like many have said this is a pretty good suspense flick that unfortunately has a weak ending.

Great plot (design) but last minutes suck like there's no tomorrow. I can't say I'm disappointed but I'm definitely mad. Movie about riddles needs serious mindfuck in the end.

Cringeworthy dialogue and riddles, but it ticks along at a pace. Very late 90s feel to it that feels so outdated in 2003
