More annoying then anything else with Yvonne Arnaud giving a irritating performance with a foreign dialect, but the story wasn't much to write about either. The story is one of suspense and drama, but there is a comic tone that dominates it and it just doesn't mash well. Comedy specialist Marcel Varnel simply wasn't the right director for this project and it's easily the worst film I've seen from him. Not even veteran actor Leslie Banks was anywhere near saving this.
