I thought Rebecca De Mornay was exceptional especially offset by the always intense Banderas

Bad, bad, bad...

Predictable shrink-ological thriller. Uninteresting characters and plot complimented by a large unnecessary albeit un-interesting twist.

Pretty much a de Palma film. Just without the visual exuberance. Which would have elevated this quite a bit, I believe. And would have much more effectively (as in "at all") kept your attention busy, so the ending wouldn't have been as obvious. Pino Donaggio does his best, which may be the "problem. The imagery just can't keep up (with neither the score nor de Mornays performance), looking way too dull and simple in comparison. Still enjoyed it a lot. Watching de Mornay perform is a delight.
