Swayze, Paxton, and Neeson as brothers? Helen Hunt is Swayze's love interest, and Ben Stiller is the pussy kid of a mob boss? I'm not quite sure how they could have made this movie any better. LOVED IT!

Viewed March 6, 2022. Saccharine to an astonishing degree; as suggested by the title, the filmmakers are obviously trying to wring some meaning out of its themes of familial distress and nature vs nurture, but the scenario is so ridiculous that it just doesn't fit. The highlight is a brief performance by Bill Paxton, who brings his usual level of depth to his small amount of screentime.

There is some epic comedy (unintentionally of course) with Liam Neeson as a hillbilly. Looking at the list of famous people in this is kind of shocking.

Passes the time.

Despite a stellar cast, this movie falls flat with an almost laughable plot, bad script and poor music choices. Overall, the story is unconvincing and feels false throughout. However, the acting is mostly good, but those good performances can not overcome this inherently bad plot and amateur script. There were a few great acting moments, but the rotten storyline ruins the experience.
