John Barrymore stumbling through a murder. Boy, was this hamming it! The great profile barely puts on an effort here (or was in too bad shape to do any better). Thankfully Charles Bickford & Lynne Overman boosts it up as a detective and reporter trying to solve the murder the audience has already been let in on. Though they weren't as good as Edmund Lowe & Victor McLaglen in the original film version - Guilty as Hell (1932).
