The dialogue in this was so bad, I was moved to tears (of laughter). My mother was too. I really think you should watch this. Beautifully inept.

This actually manages to be worse than Plan 9 From Outer Space, if only because most of it is rather uninteresting and quite flat in tone. Sure some elements are really funny, and the premise is gloriously awful, but it lacks the "So Bad Its Good Yet We All Know Its Terrible" charm of Plan 9.

More technically accomplished than Ed Wood's other films, but his eccentric fingerprints are everywhere from the floating trumpet to the entire seance sequence, which is simply bizarre. There is also a rather striking sequence of Duncan walking across a pitch black frame, swallowed by darkness. Some of the other images here are quite original, and the offbeat tone intentionally tends towards comedy. It's a fascinating failure, and Criswell's opening monologue from a coffin is wonderfully bad.

My own favorite Ed Wood missterpiece (the flying trumpets alone is worth the ticket price).

Not terribly amusing; didn't make it to the end.

Very much in the Ed Wood tradition of being so bad it's priceless. Not to be missed
