One of the greatest twists to change the original, when you think you're just watching a remake.

This remake of Night of the Living Dead is better than the original! And, they changed a few things. If you liked the 1968 version, watch this one. Really good. They also changed the ending. Very interesting.

It's all here all over again, with a few minimal, uninspired twists, minus the truly nightmarish atmosphere and visceral shocks that made the first so memorable. Todd turns in the best work, offering a thoroughly professional imitation of the late Duane Jones's perf as hero Ben. Tallman plays a shotgun-toting, Sigourney Weaver-ized Barbara; as an actress, she makes for a fine stuntwoman

I like it because i was a little scared some of the time. but i wasn't sober when i watched it

Can't touch the original, but at least it had Romero's blessing. Some good effects by Savini here.
