I don't understand why this is so boring. From the opening credits, I found this hard to focus on and the extremely vague story doesn't help matters. The cinematography is bad and the acting is very '90s TV movie think Hercules or Stargate SG-1. There were only two types of characters in this, those I disliked and those I forgot about, it was about 50/50 with the limited cast.

This is some serious 80s cheese. It's trite, cliché and just plain bad in the perfect blend to achieve hilarious 80s sci fi horror. If you don't take it too seriously, you will get a definite laugh.

Oh, boy. This one's a hot mess. Despite a promising start, the plot falls apart roughly 20 minutes in once it becomes clear that main character Miranda & hologram captain Royd have fallen for each other in two seconds, & their completely inauthentic love story will be the driving force of the narrative. The characters are hollow, the villain is dumb, a bunch of in-world terminology never gets explained or fleshed out. & the pacing is all off. The cast is solid, but they can't save it. Skip this.

Starts off intriguingly, like there's going to be an intellectual element to go along with the cheap, but appealing 80's sci-fi vibe. Unfortunately it becomes a bit of a generic mess after the midway point and doesn't recover. It's entertaining, though, and I liked the music and sets.
