Nightmare Sisters

The first half is irrecoverably bad and embarrassing for everyone involved. At the halfway point a huge switch located offscreen labeled NUDITY is flipped and, well, the rest is titstory.

One of the crown gems of 80's b-horror! Three of the genre's greatest scream queens have an extended bathtub scene in the midst of 15 minutes of nude time capped off by Linnea Quigley performing a strip-tease rock song. The dialogue is an unending string of corny sexual innuendo ("Give me your throbbing python of love!") and cheeseball college cliches ("You booger head!") and the sound effects are clearly done by a ten year old. This is must-see stuff for fans of the genre!

While Quigley, Stevens & Bauer are clearly having a lot of fun & it's nice to see three iconic scream queens in action, their presence doesn't justify this movie's existence or make it worth watching. The dialogue is atrocious, the acting is bad, the kills suck (no pun intended), and it's trying so hard to be so-bad-it's-good but winds up never hitting the mark. If you like movies with lots of gratuitous nudity but nothing else worthwhile, you might get a kick out of it. Otherwise, skip it.
