Estreava há 60 anos no Japão. Aqui temos a maior concentração de esquerdomachos palestrinhas da história do cinema, nem por isso deixa de ser um filmaço por sua exímia concatenação narrativa e deslumbrante uso de planos-sequência. Moral da história: Não convide militantes pra tua festa que eles estragam o rolê. P.S. That Oshima's fiery commentary on the the wedges fracturing the left and his sympathetic exploration of how various characters deal with the inherent hopelessless of a radical movement are still as relevant today as they were 60 years ago is a testament to the shared struggle against imperialism across all cultures and generations.
