Nina's Heavenly Delights

I have a feeling that this film was made on a budget smaller than the average episode of River City and it shows. Take a bland plot about a curry competition, go through the motions for an hour, then in the last half hour bring up a plotline about the two female protagonists entering a relationship, then rush through that for the last half hour. Two probably serviceable plots smashed together with the production values of a home movie, destroying the potential for either. Utter waste of time.

Standard romance twaddle is no less standard romance twaddle just because it happens to be about two women. But I'll see Laura Fraser in anything.

Making a bad movie out of Indians, lesbians, and cooking is quite a feat.
