It's hard to tell what's a game and what isn't, yet the ambiguous authenticity doesn't seem to say as much as they might have wanted. It's fun to watch people do something so crazy with arbitrary goals, completely blind, but once the film is over you can't help but feel the experiment wasn't fulfilling, or even all that real.

Intimate. The idea of documenting somebody's life has appealed to me ever since I was a child, and this video record of one couple's road trip and the romantic infighting that ensues is utterly fascinating to me on multiple levels - not the least of which is the fact that neither narrator can be taken at their word. There are even some shockingly beautiful moments for a something shot on a camcorder, particularly one sequence shot at night in a snowfall.
