No Tears for the Dead

That little girl was definitely not Irish enough to give a worthwhile rendition of "Oh Danny Boy". F-

Awesome action and emotions that actually make sense and feel real.

There is some good action and decent acting from most involved but I found that I didn't care about the characters and had a hard time getting into the movie. There is a lot of melodrama here that just didn't work and really took away from my enjoyment of the movie.

A couple things: 1.) This recycles A LOT of TMfNW. A lot. 2.) Brian Tee's really good in his role. 3.) The very last scene sours what could have been a great ending. I get what it was for, I just think it shouldn't have been there. 4.) I hope I never have to list things like this again, I sound like a douche.

It has that slick Korean style and tension, but this time there's way too much sap, melodrama, blood and death. The point of absurdity is reached and it becomes tiresome and tedious.

When you are in the mood for some mayhem, this movie provides plenty. Outside of some stupid Hollywood physics, and a somewhat ridiculous plot, the action is intense. The acting performances were good. It's bloody and violent and worth watching despite being in Korean with subtitles.

The action is directed with great energy and hits hard. Unfortunately its drowned in syrupy thick melodrama. Hugely disappointed.

I don't know why, but Lee's kind of cheese just does it for me.
