(it's not bad, my scoring may reflect a preference for more straightforward cinema) Though far better than a lot of arty surrealist pics I've seen this is overly long and (for me) it eventually became too tiresome to sort out all the many changes in time, place and who was who and when, to get through to the end (the dead are still alive in parts of this), CGI is very variable in quality (seems to be a trademark with this director). The English title is a crucial time in Japanese funeral rites.
