Important topic, but told in an all too straightforward fashion.

What I enjoyed most were the visual choices, notably the occasional yet fluid tracking shots and Streker's frequent decision to use a fixed shot that never strays from the character's face. As opposed to the similarly themed Unorthodox on Netflix, which left me somewhat cold, Streker's technique allowed for a greater identification with its main character and the suffocating life she seems destined to lead. The ending is about as clichéd as it gets, but I recommend this nonetheless.
